Guillermo Montes graduated from the International MBA program in 1987. Originally from Buenos Aires, received a B.S. in Computer Science, he´s been resident of the US since he relocated while working for Hewlett-Packard(HP). After graduation in Madrid, he was appointed General Manager, and Regional VP at IT companies like Ashton-Tate, Borland, Sybase Inc. and Grupo SP (acquired by SAGE Group). In 2005 joined IE full time to lead the team that developed and launched the ieCommunities, and worked as a supporting member of the launch of the Global MBA program. He is now responsible for the planning and execution of activities to present, promote, help and engage new students and corporate clients in the various Masters programs of IE, while doing on-going activities for IE Alumni located in Southern North America from the office located in Miami, Florida.
