On February 6th, IE’s annual Alumni Forum took place in Madrid, bringing together participants from over 68 nationalities and 300 companies. The forum was a great success, becoming a trending event on Twitter, with over 800 attendees and 900 more via online streaming.
“The event showed another chapter of the great interaction we see happening within our community of Alumni from around the world,” shared Forum attendee Guillermo Montes, Regional Managing Director for IE Center Miami, “this helps to reconnect, discover and launch new friendships that will evolve in business opportunities.”
The event consisted of various panel discussions, keynote speeches, networking sessions and workshops. Some of the speakers at the event included John Hope Bryant, of the U.S President’s Advisory Council and Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Operation HOPE and Daniel Carreño, President & CEO of Spain and Portugal at GE.
IE continues to pride itself on its Alumni network which spans over 50,000 alumni in over 100 countries.
We look forward to the 2016 Alumni Forum on 27th-28th March, again in Madrid!
