Come join our students from all over the world for a unique and dynamic course in the vibrant city of Madrid.
When? The program is three weeks long. Dates for the 2016 intake are July 4th – 22nd.
Who? Our summer school is open for all undergraduate students from any background and recent graduates with less than two years of work experience. All the core courses are taught in English. Additionally, optional Spanish and Chinese language courses will be offered to those who want to maximize their experience and learn more about a new language and culture.
Where? Our summer school will take place at our Madrid campus located in the heart of the city. Specifically, it is situated in the Salamanca neighborhood, where most of the big banks and companies are located, as well as numerous shops, bars, and restaurants.
Week 1: During the first week students will participate in a number of soft skills trainings through workshops in public speaking, leardership, personal branding, teambulding and creative management thinking.
Week 2 & 3: Students will specialize in one of the following areas:
- International Relations
- International business law,
- Marketing & communications.
For those eager to learn about other fields of study, seminars on different hot topics such as Big Data, Social Media or Neuromarketing will be offered throughout this two weeks.

Applicants must complete a simple registration form with personal and academic information. Once you submit it you will be interviewed to verify your English level (no English diploma is required). Find out more about the application process here.
When is the deadline to submit my application?
Applications must be submitted before June 20th, 2016 but we recommend candidates to apply as soon as possible as places are limited and last year we had to open a waiting list.
Where can I stay for the duration of the program?
Housing is not included in the program tuition fees but IE has agreements with different student residences located near campus. Prices range from 450€ to 900€ (for the three weeks) depending on the type of room, the services included and the location of the residence.
How much does the program cost?
The tuition fee is 3.200€ (300€ discount will be applied to students who do their place reservation before May 11th 2016). This includes:

- Extracurricular activities
- Company Visits
- Health Insurance
Candidates must assume the travel expenses to Madrid and housing. Scholarships are available, candidates may apply once they have submitted their registration form.
