Over 100 firms are set to take part in IE Business School’s 9th International Careers Fair from October 5 to 9. Companies will interview more than 800 students and graduates of IE master programs and give presentations on their hiring policies and key lines of strategic development.
The overriding objective of the Careers Fair is to serve as an interface between recruiting companies and the students and alumni of IE Business School’s MBA, Executive MBA and specialized master programs. Participating companies have an international profile that requires top-level managers for their organizations to meet the demands of expansion and diversification. This year’s participating companies include Accenture, Amadeus, Banesto, BBVA, Grupo Santander, Caixa Galicia, Caja Madrid, Avon, Grupo SOS, Avon, KPMG, L’Oreal, LVMH, Loewe, The Chantelle Group, Bulgari, Philips, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Roland Berger, Tata motors, Infosys, Laboratorios Servier, and Telefónica. The last day of the fair will be dedicated to the field of law and tax, and this year over 20 law firms will present their organizations and conduct interviews with students from the Master in Legal Practice, Master in Tax Law and Master in International Legal Practice. Law firms at this year’s Careers Fair include Allen & Overy, Cuatrecasas, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Garrigues, and Uría & Menéndez.
Some 85% of the students and alumni that attending the Fair will be interviewed by participating firm. The Fair enables students and alumni to gain a privileged insight into the key strategic developments of the participating firms on both a national and international level, and of their hiring policies and job opportunities. Rosalía Rodriguez, Associate Director of Careers Management at IE Business School, commented that “now that recovery is on the horizon companies are acutely aware that they need the best talent to meet the challenges of this new phase”.
