Happy Birthday, America!
We wish a happy Fourth of July to all Americans and especially to our IE American Students!
In 1776, on July 4, America claimed their independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain and Democracy was born. Each year Americans celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks, parades, carnival, barbecues, picnics, baseball games and family gatherings.
When we talk about celebrating the history – the adoption of the Declaration of Independence – it is inevitable to mention the word freedom. The United States is a truly blessed nation in terms of its diversity of culture and people from all over the world who leave their countries to go to America and experience the American Dream.
The Fourth of July is a family celebration, a major civic occasion, a day of patriotic commemoration throughout the country and a tradition of political freedom. Across the nation, the Independence Day is a time to celebrate American traditions, values and to give thanks for the freedom and liberties that the generation who founded America won for all Americans!
